The mountain goat lives in the steepest terrain B.C. has to offer. Excellent physical condition is a must to assure succcess. The early hunt consists of hiking the alpine ridges, overlooking rocky basins, cliffs and ledges. Lots of glassing with good optics is crucial for locating your trophy. This is a backpack style hunt. Late in the season the goats move down into slides and timbered rock ledges on south facing slopes to mate. These hunts take place by hiking the valley bottoms and glassing up the rock ledges and slides where the goats are gathered.
-Geographic Location-
This outfitter is located 2 hours NE of Kewlona, British Columbia (about 6 hours from the Washington state line).
-Accommodations-
The main lodge is located in the foot hills of the Monashee Mountains. The cabins are small and cozy and all tents are top quality and comfortable.
