|
Draw Deadline is Tuesday, February 9, 2010
-Details-
In the units this outfitter guides in, bulls range from 300 to 350, and for those who are willing to hunt hard your chances of harvesting a 350 to 380 class animal are increased in the remote country. Archery elk hunts take place in September, which is at the beginning of the rut. The general elk rifle season is in November, and it is not uncommon to see 10-15 bulls a day on this hunt. Muzzleloader elk hunts take place at the end of September. Methods of hunting include spot and stalk, hunting from tree stands and ground blinds and calling. Hunters need to be prepared to cover a lot of terrain and be in good physical condition.
