Brown Bear - This outfitter has three differnt areas for brown bear hunters to choose from, GMU 8, 9, 10.
GMU 8 - Spring brown bearhunts are conducted from fly in tent camps in th northern portion of the island, Bears cruise the bech and streams looking for fish and seaweed to eat. Hunters can hunt inthe spring or fall by drawing a permit.
GMU 9 - This area is home to the largest concetration of bron bears in Alaska. Terrain is marine influenced with open tundra. This area is open for brown bear hunting one season a year, with fall bear hunts falling on odd years, and spring hunts open for even years.
GMU10 - This windswept island offers some of the best brown bear hunting in Alaska in both oportunity and size of trophy animals. Spring hunts are conductd from camps close to the ocean beach with twenty hours of daylight. Hunters will apply for his permit through a drawing conducted in June, with rsults published in July.
Grizzly Bear - This area is home to an extremely abundant barren ground grizzly bear population. Let this outfitter take you on a hunt from the Continental Divide tot he Arctic Ocean. These animals see no one else and as a client the only gunshot you hear will be that of your own. Hunt on the last great untouched wilderness on earth. Combine this hunt with a caribou hunt for an extra fee and enjoy an adventure you're not soon to stop talking about.
