Bear in Idaho are black bear, but they come in any color from deep black, to blonde and all colors in between. This outfitter's area is full of black bear where they roam the hills freely in the spring searching for fresh green sprigs. Bait sites are strategically located and loaded with their three generation family secret bear bait recipe. With this type of hunting, you are very likely to see numberous bear very close. After a full days hunt you can relax in the comfort of the cozy bunkhouse and sit back to a hearty meal and hot shower.-Geographic Location-
This outfitter is located on the North Fork of the Salmon River, a branch of the famous River of No Return. The area encompasses a large section of the Salmon National Forest, Fish and Game Management Unit 21.
-Accommodations-
The camps each have at least four large wall tents. They are equipped with wood stoves, lanterns and cots with foam mats. Each camp has a large cook tent/eating area manned by an experienced camp cook.
