The coastal waters off Citrus County are some of the most unspoiled flats the state of Florida has to offer. Year round the gulf coast around Crystal River and Homosassa hold large schools of redfish, flats covered with speckled trout, and giant tarpon during there migration. Gin clear, mangroved lined backcountry creeks and bay are a joy to sight fish with fly and light tackle spinning gear. Cruise the flats in search of world record class tarpon from April into July using fly tackle on clear calm day and casting plugs and jig in deep water passes during low lght hours and on breezy afternoon. You will have the pleasure of riding along with your captain onboard a new custom built shallow water flats skiff. The 20' long Micro Draft Skiff is the only way to enjoy the flats and a very wide and stable fishing platform enabling you to get close to your target fish.
