From vertical jigging in the early spring to trolling in late summer, opportunities for excellent fishing are endless. The equipment needed for each is always available. Lake Erie also has a reputation for it's great smallmouth bass fishing. Large numbers of braggin' size smallies swim the waters around islands and reefs. May thru October provides best tmes for these fish.
